- this tall olive shaped Biot Jar is a large design statement ideal as a focal point in any scheme
- Olive jars were originally used in Provence, S of France, as storage jars typically for flour, olives or oil
- antique Provence patina and with coloured glaze around the collar
- crafted by hand using the rope wheel technique of pottery making, the imprint of the rope is permanently marked on the inside
- each jar is personally stamped by the craftsman we commissioned to create this piece, making each jar unique
- each jar is fitted with a large hole at the bottom for proper drainage.
